Hey Guys! Today, I'll be sharing with you the Top 10 fairy Tale Retellings I Want to Read. Top 10 Tuesday was created by the Broke and the Bookish.  I have a couple extra for today!

Series: A Court of Thorns and Roses #1
Retelling of: Beauty and the Beast

I really loved the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas but the books were so intimidating and took me FOREVER to read so i am kind of scared to read this book...




Title: Briar Rose
Author: Jana Oliver
Standalone Novel
Retelling of: Sleeping Beauty

I loved Sleeping Beauty. It was one of my favourite fairy tales, and I really want to read a retelling of it.



Title: Dorothy Must Die
Author: Danielle paige
Series: Dorothy Must Die #1
Retelling of: Wizard of Oz

Again, Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favourites. Although I've watched so many movies related to it, I have never read a retelling in book format. I cannot wait to get to this one. 
Title: Fairest
Author: Marissa Meyer
Series: The Lunar Chronicles 3.5
Retelling of: Snow White (The Evil Queen's Story)

I adored the first three books in the Lunar Chronicles and I cannot wait for book 4 to come out. I am really interested to read Queen Levana's (the villain) story!



Title: My Name is Rapunzel
Author: K.C Hilton
Standalone Novel
Retelling of: Rapunzel

I don't even like Rapunzel, but this story sounds so interesting that I need to read it! It's like a mystery/thriller version of Rapunzel. I loved Tangled though.




Title: Entwined
Author: Heather Dixon
Series: Entwined #1
Retelling of: The 12 Dancing Princesses

That. Cover. Is. Gorgeous!
Also, I love ballerina stories, I love the 12 Dancing Princesses so there really is no reason why I shouldn't read this, right?



Title: The Last Ever After
Author: Soman Chainani
Series: The School for Good and Evil #3
Retelling of: Various

I really enjoyed the rest of this trilogy and I really cannot wait to find out what happens in the end. So exciting!





Title: The Isle of the Lost
Author: Melissa De La Cruz
Series: Descendants #1 
Retelling of: Various

I love Melissa De La Cruz's writing and I love disney. Also, the movie is starring Dove Cameron, whom I love. I have to read the book before I see the movie!



Title: Scarlet
Author: A.C Gaughen
Series: Scarlet #1
Retelling of: Robin Hood

I have never seen a Robin Hood retelling before, but this one sounds very interesting.





Title: Winter
Author: Marissa Meyer
Series: The Lunar Chronicles #4
Retelling of: Snow White

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!





Title: The Wrath and the Dawn
Author: Renee Adieh
Standalone Novel
Retelling of: A 1001 Nights

This books sounds so interesting!






Title: UnEnchanted
Author: Chanda Hahn
Series: UnEnchanted #1
Retelling of: Brothers Grimm Fairy tales

An UNFORTUNATE fairy tale? Come on, you can't resist that!

  1. I'm reading The Wrath & The Dawn right now and I'm loving it. Court of Thorns & Roses is on my TBR and I hope to be getting to it shortly.

    I have been seeing a lot of Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen for this post and like you I have never read a Robin Hood retelling so I'm really curious now.

  5. Robin Hood adaptations seem to come and go. There's always one being published, but they never seem to gain a ton of popularity. I know Robin McKinley had one out a while ago, for instance. I do love Scarlet, though!

  8. Great choices! I need to read a lot of these books. I really hope to get to ACOTAR this month. I love the Wrath and the Dawn. It such an amazing book. I hope you enjoy it! I completely agree the cover of Entwined is beautiful!

  11. Oh, I've looked at My Name is Rapunzel before. Perhaps someday I will actually read it. Curious about "Wrath and Dawn" and "Entwined," too. A friend recommends the latter, which makes me all the more excited to read it.

  12. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TOO! It feels like I've been waiting forever for Winter to finally come out!
    I loved Entwined! It's definitely one of my favorites. I think I liked the villain best though haha. He was just so cool/dark/mysterious :D
