My TBR Pile Cries Every Day | September New Releases I Need

August 30, 2017

September seems to be the month with all the exciting new releases this year, so here are 7 books I am very excited for in the month of September!

September 5th

I read We Were Liars by E. Lockhart when it came out and really enjoyed it, so I'm interested in this.

September 5th

If that title does not intrigue you then I do not know what will. I just want to find out if they actually die at the end.

September 5th

I didn't enjoy the Darkest Minds by the same author but this is middle grade and sounds right up my alley.
September 12th

The Legend Trilogy is one of my favourites, and this sounds amazing. Bounty hunters in video games? Sign me up!

September 19th

I just reread the original School for Good and Evil trilogy this year and it brought back memories. Can't wait for this.

September 19th

This is the sequel to A Shadow Bright and Burning which had annoying romance but an intriguing plot.
September 27th

Girl pretends to be princess so actual princess can have a normal life. Sounds great! Also, it gives me Princess Diaries vibes.

  2. I didn't know there was a new E Lockhart on the way! I really liked We Were Liars -- will have to check it out! (And I'd want to read the 2nd book for the same reason -- with a title like that, I'd want to know if they really do die!)

    1. Yeah, I didn't know about Genuine Fraud either until recently and was so happy when I found out! I really do wonder what will happen if they both do die at the end. I am very curious.

  4. They Both Die at the End is so fantastically excellent and I couldn't recommend it enough. I had an eARC and I wasn't sure I'd like it because I wasn't that fond of Silvera's previous book, but it took my breath away. It was beautiful and I'm currently gently threatening a couple of friends to buy it. I hope you like it!
I've been hearing a lot about Warcross lately and I have to say I'm curious. I haven't read anything by Marie Lu and I can't say the cover of Warcross grabbed my attention (why are do many fantasy/sci-fis have minimalist designs and white covers? They blur into one for me), but the synopsis sounds interesting and not like my typical read.
    Great post!

    1. Oh wow, that is some extremely high praise for They Both Die At The End and I cannot wait for it now! It seems like it's going to be incredible! I know right, the cover for Warcross is terrible! The story sounds so cool and the cover had so much awesomeness potential but alas, we are left disappointed. It was brought to my attention because I loved Marie Lu's Legend Trilogy, and the synopsis does sound unique. Thank you :D

  5. Genuine Fraud is one I'm curious about too, and Warcross is one I hope to read soon. It's one of the more anticipated books of September for me.
